Muffin and Ann
May. 21st, 2022 08:58 pm Ann stood by her t.v., watching the morning news. Suddenly, a commercial came on. Ann sighed. The screen on the t.v. showed two people walking about, seeming to be unsure about something.
“Are you tired of taxes? Well-” Ann shut off the t.v.
Suddenly, Ann heard knocking on the door to her bedroom. She sighed and stood from her sofa, before quickly walking over to open the door.
“Who’s there?” Ann yelled from across the room.
A small mewl was heard from behind the door, and Ann realized the “person” was an animal. Ann slipped over to the door, and quietly opened it. As she looked down, she saw a small kitten with a note on its collar.
“Hmm… This says: ‘Muffin, I can’t care for her anymore, please help.’” Ann read aloud.
Ann blinked.
5 years passed, and many trash cans were toppled.
Over time, Ann and Muffin grew close, no matter what funny business happened, no matter what room became trashed, they were inseparable.

Sweet story :)
