The Perfect Gift- a poem

 Tina thought it was a robot.

 Paige thought it was a kitten.

 
Marcus considered the idea of a live dinosaur.

 

 Jackie wanted a dress.

 

I hoped it would be a new plushie.

 
But as the box was opened, to our surprise, a puppy popped out, with happy eyes.

I should like to have a live dinosaur, but puppies are sometimes like that, especially when they tear up all of THEIR plushies and toys and somethings other things in the house. :)
